Feelin 22
It's official friends...I'M 22!
Yesterday was my birthday and it was incredible! Birthdays are the best when you're little because it's the best day ever. When you grow up, they just aren't the same. Thanks to the best boyfriend in this entire galaxy, it was. Thinking that I'd spend my birthday alone due to my friends and their adult lives, he surprised me at my friend's house with gerber daisies and an adventurous night awaiting.
I really do think that 22 is going to be one of my best years yet :)

It's been a while...
WOW. Don't remember the last time I was on this thing...probably because I had forgotten my password but that's beside the point.
So much has happened in my life since I have posted last.
So much has happened in my life since I have posted last.
- I graduated from NAU with a degree in Elementary Education
- I went to Windy Gap in North Carolina for a month to take kids on horseback rides
- Im a substitute teacher
- I recently accepted a full-time teaching position that will begin in the fall
- I love tea. Anytime. Anywhere.
- I completed Friday Night Lights
- And How I Met Your Mother...not very pleased
I'm excited for this next part in my life because I feel as though the Lord is revealing more and more to me each day who I'm suppose to be and who He created me to be. It's a weird feeling...growing up. My birthday is in 2 days and it's crazy how fast time is passing.
I will try to be more up to date with my blog so keep your fingers crossed!
These are some pictures from the best month of my life at Windy Gap!

good good flag life.
Oh how I've missed Flag Town! Since leaving there in December, as lame as it sounds not one day has passed that I haven't thought about my friends there, the town itself, and the memories I had once lived. Gilbert is wonderful and I love it, but it isn't the same. I mean, I was born and raised in Gilbert but now that I'm back after 2.5 years it's completely different. It's weird to think how much time truly changes things, but beautiful at the same time.
This past weekend my friend Sammie and I took a road trip up North and boy, was it needed! Fresh mountain air never smelt and felt (that rhymed) so good! Student teaching has been a tough growing experience and it was a relief to just relax and be 20 again.
A weekend filled with lifelong friends, a HUGE blessing of a boyfriend, Macy's specials, Fratelli's pizza and just a unique town that will always have a piece of my heart was exactly what this girl needed.

new gig.
God continues to blow me away with His glory, faithfulness, and love. Leaving Flagstaff was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do: leaving my community, my house that was falling apart, my boyfriend, and many many memories.
Joining a new Young Life team was scary because A of all: I was now leading high school instead of college. B of all: It's a new area. C of all: It was a super tight team. To my pleasant surprise, this new team was a HUGE blessing. We had our leader retreat this past weekend in Pinetop and I already feel apart of the family. We just need to trust Him and His plan because it's way better than we could ever dream or imagine. His love never ever fails or gives up on us.
In other news…..I'M GOING TO SERVE ON SUMMER STAFF AT WINDY GAP THIS SUMMER!! God works in mysterious ways, but they are so perfect. Windy Gap had been put on my heart from the beginning for some odd reason to me (not to the big guy) and I now know why.
It is not like me AT ALL to decide to fly across the country to volunteer for a month at a camp. I'm an extreme homebody (not like a creepy hermit or something) and to want to leave Arizona and all my family and friends to a place I've never been and I know not one soul. It's absolutely terrifying but in such an exciting way.
I was chosen to be a horse wrangler…it's time to pull out my cowgirl gear. It's been a while since I've ridden a horse, but I'm looking forward to sore saddle seat, the green rolling hills, friendships I'm going to make, serving others, but most importantly relying on my Savior and learning more about Him.

life in a nut shell.
Well here it is…the beginning of 2013! Each year I am continually creeped out by how fast the time passes. I am going to try not to bore you, so here is the highlighted version of happenings in my life these past 6 months…

*College Weekend at Lost Canyon in Williams, AZ with my homies!
*All State College Life at ASU Tempe Campus! Had to stop for In-n-Out Burger #duh

*This gem has changed my life! It has been such a blessing having Sarah in my life, but I know the Lord wants her at Oakbridge!
* I got to work in the Lost Canyon kitchen! Too bad I had meat grease from the ceiling drip in my hair...
* Ummm I have the best boyfriend ever! I have a man that cooks me breakfast and encourages me in the Lord…who knew right!?
* These two little muffins (Lizzy and Mariah) had brought an incredible joy into my life! Somehow we always find ourselves doing random, wacky, but crazy awesome things together!
DECEMBER:
* Passed all my finals!
* Moved back home to Gilbert
* Found out I am now leading on Mesquite Young Life's Team
JANUARY:
* Bought my first car….a 2011 Ford Escape!
*Went to California with 5 extraordinary friends
